In this issue of Q magazine the contents page has one main image of a man making direct eye contact to the camera/audience. There is only a small caption as to the name of the singer, this could suggest that he is featured a lot in the magazine or is just a well known face. The colours that have been used are the usual Q magazine colours which are red black and white. They have been used in this contents page because they are simple and aren't in your face. The fact that they are simple is because the magazine is designed for an older generation who enjoy old and modern music but wish to see it represented in a stylish way.
The text is set out tidily down the left hand side of the page. The text is laid on a red box and the font is in black to stand out and so that the audience can read it clearly.
The sub heading "Features" is capitalised so that it catches the audience's attention and so that they can read it clearly and navigate themselves around the page.
There is also a quote from and interview with "Nick Valensi" from "The Strokes" at the bottom of the page to interest the readers as it gives a little taster of what the interview is about. The language in the quote suggests that the artist is rather childish as the word "fart" is taboo language possibly suggesting that the interview is very laid back and personal.
